Annapurna

Roughly 40% of the food produced in India is wasted while a large share of the population stays undernourished. The gap is coordination: a donor with surplus has no reliable way to reach an NGO before the food spoils.

The caption

Roughly 40% of the food produced in India is wasted while a large share of the population stays undernourished. The gap is coordination: a donor with surplus has no reliable way to reach an NGO before the food spoils. Annapurna is the coordination layer. Donors post surplus with a location and a time window; nearby NGOs and volunteers claim it, complete the pickup and confirm — and every confirmed claim becomes verifiable impact data. Four roles, four dashboards, a proximity-filtered feed, an interactive map, notifications and shareable impact cards. It won 1st prize at BYTEBATTLE by MeetKats (June 2025) against 15+ teams — Team TechVerse: Saksham Gupta, Raman Shukla and me. Architecture and stack inside. Code: github.com/Pranjulrathour/annapurna.live I also build tools.scult.in — 15 free tools, 1,200+ prompts and a 50,000-skill library, free for anyone, no signup.
