The two-minute pitch

In December 2025 we built STROT in 48 hours. We had a product, a story and a vision — and we didn't win. The lesson I posted then still holds: in a two-minute pitch, clarity and storytelling matter as much as the system.

In December 2025 we built STROT in 48 hours. We had a product, a story and a vision — and we didn't win. The lesson I posted then still holds: in a two-minute pitch, clarity and storytelling matter as much as the system. Earlier that year the same team took three first prizes (Changethon at IIT Roorkee, Product Genesis at CSJMU, BYTEBATTLE by MeetKats). The difference was never the code. It was whether the judges understood, in two minutes, who the product was for and what was actually working. This is the structure I use now, the mistakes I made on stage, and what I look for when I'm the one holding the scoresheet. I also build tools.scult.in — 15 free tools, 1,200+ prompts and a 50,000-skill library, free for anyone, no signup.
