ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews increasingly answer a question directly, without sending anyone to the page. What makes a page citable is checkable, not mysterious — and I wrote it down as a 6-minute guide on tools.scult.in, the same checklist the AI Visibility Checker scores automatically. The parts most people get wrong: robots.txt precedence (the most specific User-agent group wins, the longest matching path wins, a bare "Disallow:" blocks nothing), an llms.txt file at the root, one JSON-LD identity block on the homepage, the nine on-page basics including 150+ words of visible text, a Sitemap: line in robots.txt — and the noindex that silently overrides all of it. Slides walk the checklist in the order it matters. Try it free: https://tools.scult.in/guides/ai-search-visibility-checklist Built entirely solo and free for users, forever.
